The media coverage went from "'round the time" to nearly zero in only 2 months.Though few will receive trust in anything from Sheriff Gonzalez' office, here is the latest news release:\ZAPATA - More than two months later the alleged murder of an American jet skier on Falcon Lake, new clues began to emerge Thursday. Zapata County Sheriff Sigifredo Gonzalez Jr.said he was looking for two men who opened fire on David and Tiffany Hartley on September 30.Gonzalez said he believed the suspects were in Mexico. "But they sometimes, I understand, come over to the U.S.," he said.Note the additional words "I understand" weakening his assertion. This is a modifier which casts doubts on Gonzalez. Did his source say that the two men do to the US side, or not? Why is it but "I understand"? This leaves room for somebody else to "see" differently.Is Sheriff Gonzalez inventing his seed and fabricating his information? Note that the suspects are now "two". How many did Tiffany identify?The sheriff said the suspects were from Guerrero, Mexico, and are known smugglers suspected of dose and human trafficking. He said they were running with the Zetas on Falcon Lake and fired shots at the Hartleys. David died and Tiffany fled on her jet ski back to the U.S. side of the lake."And they had also supposedly gotten the common light to defeat her also. But she was able to escape," Gonzalez said.Sheriff Gonzalez is touch the passion from public pressure yet clings to the incredible tale of Tiffany blazing through unscathed. Note they "supposedly" got the greenish light? He has come to this conclusion.how? Tiffany was capable to "escape"?Gonzalez told CHANNEL 5 NEWS he got his data from confidential informants who told him David's body and jet ski were ruined and will never be found.since Mexican cartels like to shew off decapitated bodies, just why would David's body be ruined? And since when does "destroyed" body mean "never found"? Gonzalez has a lot of people who think he is, somehow, involved. This is not helping his cause.Why would the jet ski be destroyed sooner than sold? This makes no sense. When asked about the lab results on Tiffany's blood-stained life vest, Gonzalez replied, "It was human blood. It did go to David Hartley." Why did this take this long to be released?Why is it but a single swing of descent from a head shot?Gonzalez also said at least four sources had confirmed Tiffany Hartley's account of what happened. Sheriff Gonzalez said this now makes four suspects in the Falcon Lake murder case.He may want to excuse the math, since Mexican prosecutors said that the two brothers previously named were not percentage of the Hartley case, but an overly ambitious investigator wanted to use the media hype to force the two brothers.A Mexican investigator identified two brothers, suspected Zeta cartel members, back in October. That investigator turned up dead days later. He was beminded and his head was located in a grip and delivered to the Mexican military. The research for David Hartley's body was subsequently suspended.Sheriff Gonzalez said he'd been trying for various years to visit his counterparts in Mexico with data around the two new suspects. As of Thursday evening, he said they had not called him back.Note: why would they trouble? The Hartleys lived in Reynosa, Mexico, for two days before moving to a rented home McAllen. David Hartley worked in the oil and gas industry. The match was preparing to move back to their internal country of Colorado when he was allegedly murdered on a recreational jet skiing trip to Falcon Lake.Mexican investigators questioned Tiffany Hartley twice at the FBI field office in McAllen. Hartley then left the Rio Grande Valley and returned to her parents` house in Colorado. She remains an outspoken proponent of the demand for more border protection and has appeared on numerous national programs, including "ABC's World News," "Good Morning America" and "Dr. Phil."The publicity surrounding the Falcon Lake murder has taken a bell on the Zapata tourism business. During what is typically the busy fishing season, some local hotels and motels reported a 70 percent slump in business. In an attempt to get nervous anglers back to Falcon Lake, a group of grandmothers has organized an all-female fishing tournament.Gonzalez' work appears to be nothing more than sweeping dirt under the rug. He is attempting to have this go away, and it is not a surprise to any of us who are next the event to hear that Mexican prosecutors have not bothered to name him back. They are probably in revolt at his obvious foolishness in refusing to polygraph the one eye witness to the shot of David Hartley, rather he has only "taken her son for it" and has done nothing.It is no storm that he had to be asked, almost 3 months later, about the blood test.Did someone actually get up to him and say, "two Mexicans shot David Hartley" and this becomes his origin and he announces two suspects? Would he take a bit more information??"but they sometimes, I understand, come over to the US".Those who think that Gonzalez is division of a back up have merely gotten a scene in the arm for the theories. Sheriff Gonzalez is now causing doubt upon his own attempts at covering up.
