Robin S Music Ringtones: Cheltenham Town 1-! Aldershot Town .

Peter Vincenti nets at Cheltenham

GOAL FLASH (54) Robins 0-2 Shots
An excellent goal from Vincenti who collected the egg off Mekki 25 yards out and powered his way into the penalty box. He appeared to hesitate at the decisive moment before rounding Brown and firing home with his left foot from six yards for his fourth goal since he joined the place in January.
Aldershot started to dictate play again.

Sills struck on the split with his left foot from eight yards and his effort was scarcely full of Brown`s right-hand post.

61 to 75

Yates made a double substitution desperately trying to recruit his office who were noticeably low on confidence after conceding the second goal.

Mekki won a free kick in "Guttridge" territory and the former Northampton Town midfielder curled a pacy 22-yard effort on the left edge just wide of Brown`s exposed far post.

Aldershot were in a strong position at this period and were controlling a rivalry against ineffectual opposition.
Charles headed Halls` corner wide of the target.

Mekki received a standing ovation from the visiting supporters as he was replaced by Jermaine McGlashan after an industrious performance.

Keith Lowe rescued his side from a third goal as he intervened on the edge of the six-yard box clearing Straker`s centre with Hylton menacing just behind.

76 to 90

Sills was replaced by Mansfield Town loanee Luke Medley with a quarter of an hour remaining. Sills, similar to Mekki, received a warm ovation from the visiting fans before being acknowledged by boss Holdsworth and assistant Matt Bishop.

Straker was extremely unfortunate to be added to referee Kevin Wright`s note book for a handball infringement on the edge of the 18-yard box. Substitute Jake Thomson`s wild placed effort high into the stands appeared to sum up Cheltenham`s afternoon to that point.

Medley latched onto a long ball but was denied by the watchfulness of Brown who cleared on the limit of his six yard box.

A nervy finale as Cheltenham captain Michael Pook's cross sails over Jamie Young

GOAL FLASH (83) Robins 1-2 Shots
Robins' skipper Michael Pooksailed in a brilliant ball from the right and it drifted over keeper Young and into the corner of the net to produce the home spirits for the final seven minutes. The Shots' keeper crashed into the far post and needed treatment before being able to continue.

Aaron Morris replaced Hylton as Aldershot now had to examine the field they had possessed throughout to see the cheque out.

Five minutes of injury time lifted the home support but it was Aldershot who broke quickly with Morris producing an excellent powerful stride through the eye before playing in Medley on the left edge of the 18-yard box. His last campaign was blocked for a corner.

In an action packed injury time Aldershot had a real let-off when the ball fell to Steve Elliott who was six yards out but he snatched his effort high over the bar.

Cheltenham packed the numbers fore and won a succession of corners. Young scooped one behind before a dramatic clearance from Jones sufficed as the interior side looked a whole different view to the view that performed for the opening 83 minutes of this contest.

Aldershot were full value for the maximum points but succeeded in ensuring that they collected them in the traditional "Aldershot" manner.
